New Delhi, April 22: Suzuki has unveiled its sporty new concept, the Authentics at the Shanghai Auto Show. The concept car is a new C-Segment sedan designed to the specifications of the Chinese market.
The C-segment sedan embraces a "Sporty x Elegant" design philosophy that has resulted into a low roofline, a long wheelbases and a strong character line that gives a "wind-cutting image along with a rich and fine curved surface."
Suzuki says it will manufacture the model based on Authentics Concept at the Chongqing Changan Suzuki joint venture in China with the production version hitting the Chinese market by 2014. It will sold alongside the Suzuki SX4 Crossover.

The company did not reveal anything about the engine but it is likely that the same range of engines will power the Authentics as the SX4 Crossover.
