Mahindra TUV 300
Mahindra was a bit late in umpiring on to the compact SUV bandwagon, but the company did manage to enter the segment nonetheless with TUV 300.
The sub-4 meter SUV comes with a boxy design that has not been seen so far in any of the vehicles in this segment. Manufactured in India, Mahindra TUV 300 is quite economical as well priced between Rs. 7 lacs and Rs. 9.2 lacs (ex-Showroom, Delhi)
Mahindra Bolero
One of the most economical SUVs in the list, Mahindra Bolero is available at Rs. 6 lacs to Rs. 8.3 lacs (ex-Showroom,Delhi). This compact SUV is probably the most rugged of the lot that is made for low maintenance and compact exterior that delivers high mileage as well.
This compact SUV has done quite well in rural areas and can become popular in urban areas considering a lot of enhancements are in the pipeline.
