Noida students develop a cost saving electric-cum-fuel bike

Greater Noida June 25: Students of GNIOT (Greater Noida Institute of Technology) have developed a hybrid motorcycle that can be called as both petrol and e-bike. The students at the institute integrated the bike with

The battery gets charged when the bike runs on uncongested areas and thus consumes petrol optimally. But when it passes through a congested area, the ignition of the bike gets switched off and then an electric motor drives it. This means the consumption of petrol gets reduced by about 12 to 15 per cent.
