New Delhi: Budget carrier SpiceJet, a week after its ‘cheaper than train' offer, has announced yet another low fare scheme for its domestic fliers. The airline, on Thursday, announced the scheme named, ‘One Stop Sale' on micro blogging site Twitter.
On Thursday morning SpiceJet tweeted, “Fly. Stop. Fly. SpiceJet One Stop Sale is here at fares starting Rs.2999 all-in. Book only on spicejet.com.”
Travelers, under the scheme, can book tickets for any travel between February 25 and April 22. Starting today the scheme is open for next three days. Fares start at Rs 2,999 all inclusive and they are non-refundable.
The tickets booked under this scheme are only for the flights within India with just one stopover. The offer is not available for groups and infants.
The move by the troubled airliner is aimed to collect funds from advance bookings. It is worth a mention that SpiceJet has reported a loss of Rs 275-crore for the December quarter, 59% more than it was during the same period of the previous year.
On the other hand, SpiceJet announced on Wednesday that is suspending its services to six cities, Aurangabad, Belgaum, Indore, Lucknow, Surat and Thiruvanthapuram, as part of its summer schedule.
