New Delhi, May 3: Soon after launching Xperia Z and ZL, Sony said Xperia L is now available in India for Rs 18990. Online retailer Infibeam has listed Xperia L for pre-order saying that the handset will be released on May 8, 2013.
Xperia L comes with a 4.3 inch capacitive touchscreen display with 854 x 480 pixel resolution. The smartphone is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8230 dual-core processor alongside 1GB RAM, and has 8GB of internal storage expandable by another 32GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, has a 8MP rear camera and VGA front camera. It comes with 8GB internal storage, micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS, and NFC. Its 1,700mAh battery is supported by Sony's stamina feature that promises long life.
Interestingly, the price range puts Xperia L in direct competition with Nokia Lumia 720, , the latest Windows Phone 8 handset released in the market with a similar price of Rs 18,999.
