New Delhi, Jan 25: Samsung may launch the 7-inch Galaxy Tab 3 at an affordable price. The tablet is likely to run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The DigiTimes reported that the Galaxy Tab 3 tablets are expected to be available in the retail market by the first half of this year.
This year, Samsung aims to join the affordable tablet game and plans to launch the 7-inch display bearing Galaxy tab 3 at a price of $150 (Rs 8,250 approx.). Samsung aims to compete with the likes of Asus Google Nexus 7 and Acer Iconia B1 tablets that offer good features at lower budgets.
The Android based tablets in the affordable segments mostly offer casual gaming, reading ebooks, watching videos/movies, web browsing and social networking features.
