New Delhi: Samsung seems all set to launch another mid-range smartphone series, called Galaxy Grand Neo, in India in February 2014. Given its specifications, the handset looks to fit the previously-rumoured Galaxy
Grand Lite.The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo will be available in Single SIM and Dual SIM variants. According to SammyHub, the Galaxy Grand Neo will come with a 5-inch WVGA (800x480 pixel) display, with no word on the screen technology, and a 1.2GHz quad-core A7 processor); the chipset is BCM23550. According to the leaked documents, the alleged Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo will run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box with company's TouchWiz on top.
Design-wise the rear panel of Grand Neo will feature a soft-touch back, as seen before on Galaxy Note 3. The phone will come with 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage. Additional storage up to 64GB can be added with a micro-SD car slot. A 5MP camera with LED flash is placed on the rear with 720p video recording support and a VGA camera is placed on the front.
Connectivity options include 3G(21Mbps), 2G, Wi-Fi (b/g/n) with Direct / Hotspot support, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB 2.0 port and GPS with GLONASS / A-GPS. Galaxy Grand Neo comes with a 2100 mAh battery.
The phone is likely to cost between Rs. 22,900 and Rs. 24,900.
