New Delhi: Samsung has officially reduced the price of Galaxy S Duos 3 to Rs. 7,497 in India. The phone was launched earlier this month at Rs 8,150.
It is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone that features a 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) TFT display. The device is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor clubbed with 512MB of RAM. It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat with the company's updated TouchWiz Essence UX on top.
Galaxy S Duos 3 offers 4GB inbuilt storage, and features a microSD card slot for expansion. There is a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash onboard, and has a VGA front camera.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, and 3G. It is backed by a 1500mAh battery.
On Thursday, Samsung had officially slashed the price of the Galaxy Core 2 by roughly 33 percent to Rs. 8,007 from Rs. 11,990. The smartphone is available on Samsung India's official online store at the new price.
