Renault is all set to launch its face lifted Duster by the first half of the next year. The company is geared up to showcase the updated SUV at the upcoming 2016 Indian Auto Expo scheduled to be held in the month of February next year.
The much-celebrated compact SUV will undergo both interior and exterior changes. The exterior makeover would include a single slat grill design encasing the company logo, a revamped bumper, redesigned alloy wheels and new headlight cluster at the front and tail light cluster at the rear.
The interiors will get a makeover too, in terms of a brand new instrument cluster, an optional MediaNav touchscreen infotainment system integrated with Bluetooth connectivity, Navigation and a new steering wheel design.
Mechanically, the upgraded Renault Duster will see the debut of Renault's Automated Manual Transmission, dubbed as Easy-R AMT by the automaker. The French manufacturer is thrilled to introduce the face lifted Duster with this most prominent mechanical upgrade till date in its cars. The Easy-R AMT will be a five-speed unit.
The compact SUV will continue to carry the same 1.5-litre dCi diesel motor that churns out 89bhp and 109bhp of power in respective models. The petrol variant too will continue to feature the 1.6-litre powermill that churns out 102bhp of power with a peak torque of 148Nm.
