New Delhi: Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Jio Infocomm is said to be in plans to rope in superstar Shah Rukh Khan as its brand ambassador, media reports suggest.
Reliance's much awaited 4G services were to roll out from December 27 this year for the billion-dollar group's employees. The services would be available for others somewhere around April or May next year. It is expected that the group will spend around Rs 1,00,000 crore for the commercial launch.
This would include purchase of airwaves, setting up of telecom and retail network and on human resources and marketing.

The launch is slated to be on the 83rd birth anniversary of Dhirubhai Ambani, founder of Reliance industries, on December 28.
Shah Rukh Khan was earlier the brand ambassador of telecom major Airtel. It is expected that music maestro AR Rahman will perform at the event too.
