Xiaomi India has announced a price cut of Rs 2,000 on 4G version of Redmi Note. The device was earlier priced at Rs 9,999 and it is now available for Rs 7,999.
The price cut is applicable starting Tuesday and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G can be purchased from Mi.com, Flipkart, Amazon, and Snapdeal, as well as The Mobile Store and Airtel retail stores.
Redmi Note 4G was initially available via the company's flash sale model on Flipkart only.
Redmi Note 4G has an 5.5 inch HD 720p screen , the rear shooter is 13 megapixel and has 5 megapixel at the front. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8928 processor clocked at 1.6 GHz combined with 2GB of RAM. Redmi Note 4G is runs Google's Android KitKat 4.4 with internal storage of 8GB expandable upto 64GB. The Phone also includes a big 3100 mAh Lithium-ion polymer battery.
It was first launched in India in December last year. It was also the company's first 4G offering in India, with support for both 4G bands - FDD-LTE (Band 3 - 1800 MHz) and TDD-LTE (Band 40 - 2300 MHz).
