Questions raised on increasing excise duty
Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan justified the increase in excise duty on crude oil by saying that though the price of crude oil in international market has decreased in last 4 months, there is constant increase in petrol rates.

New Delhi: Rs 52.28 per litre
Sri Lanka: Rs 44.29 per litre
Pakistan: Rs 51.15 per litre
Bangladesh: Rs 54.27 per litre
Nepal: Rs 54.27 per litre

Pakistan: Rs 44.05 per litre
