New Delhi, May 14: At the recent National Technology Day Awards, Notion Ink revealed specs and features of Adam II tablet.
Notion Ink, the Bangalore-based startup, says the tablet is equipped with a 1.5 GHz dual-core ARM Cortex A9 processor, which is better than the Tegra 2 processor of the first Adam tablet. The rest of the specs are not that much of an improvement over the older tablet.
Notion Ink has retained the 10.1-inch display, though the resolution is slightly higher at 1280x800 pixels. Instead of the 3.2-megapixel swivel camera on the Adam, there is a 2-megapixel camera each on the front and back of this tablet. Further, the 1GB of RAM is the same as the predecessor.
The Adam II's design seems to have taken cues from coffee-table books and magazines. The secondary display is on the tablet's edge, making it look like a live book spine. The black and white display shows a ticker of the recent notifications along with contextual information.
