Mumbai, Jul 10: As the Japanese car-maker Nissan improves both its wallet and mind share in the country, it is driving the brand building through roping management students.
The company is also planning to make its talent hunt programme called 'Nissan Student Brand Manager Programme' more broad-based to tap the talent in a more effective way, Hover Automative India Pvt Ltd sales and marketing director Nitish Tipnis said here late last night, after announcing the winners for this year.
Hover Automative is the sales, marketing, distribution and dealership partner of Nissan Motors in India.
The company announced selection of 19 young B-school students as Nissan student brand managers (NSBM), which was first launched in 2010, for this year.
"The third season of NSBM has brought more innovation and creativity to the fore and through which we will tap the creative potential further to achieve meaningful results," Tipnis said.
