New Delhi: The MSCI Global Standard Indices will see the addition of Aurobindo Pharma with effect from May 30.
The change will take place as on close of May 30, MSCI had said on Wednesday.
Shares of the drug firm rose 3.25 per cent to touch 52-week high of 635 and were later trading 2.90 per cent higher at 632.85 on the BSE.
In all, 13 stocks have been added and the same number of them deleted from MSCI global small-cap indexes.
Key additions to the MSCI small-cap indexes include Bajaj Corp, Coromandel International, Jaiprakash Power, EIL and Indian Bank.
Stocks that were deleted include Eicher Motors and PC Jeweller.
