New Delhi: Motorola has launched the 32 GB variant of Moto X (Gen 2) in India at Rs 32,999. At the same time the handset maker has also slashed the price of the previously available 16GB variant of Moto X (Gen 2) to Rs 29,999, which was earlier priced at Rs 31,999.
The Moto X variant is offered with up to Rs 6000 discount in exchange of old smartphone, and 10 per cent discount for Standard Chartered bank customers with credit/ debit cards.
Moto X (Gen 2) comes with a 5.2-inch (1080x1920 pixel) OLED display with a pixel density of 423ppi, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The handset is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974-AC) processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM.
It comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.25 lens with 4K video recording and dual-LED ring flash, as well a 2-megapixel front-facing camera capable of 1080p video recording.
It runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box, but the company has already announced that it is rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the handset.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.0LE, Micro-USB, and 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 140.8x72.4x9.97mm, and weighs 144 grams. It is powered by a 2300mAh battery.
