New Delhi: Motorola has started selling accessories for the Moto E (Gen 2) in India through its exclusive online partner, Flipkart. The Moto E (Gen 2) will soon be listed on the e-commerce giant's website.
Moto E (Gen 2) accessories include the Motorola Grip Shell Back Cover priced at Rs. 899, and the Motorola Band Multicolour at Rs. 999.
You can choose from a Black or White base colour, with a choice of interchangeable Motorola Bands (Golden Yellow, Turquoise, Blue, Raspberry, Purple, Red) and Grip Shells (Golden Yellow, Charcoal, Turquoise, Blue, Raspberry).
Motorola had launched the Moto E (Gen 2) in India earlier this month. While the 3G variant went up for sale at Rs. 6,999, which is same as the original Moto E price at launch last year; the company is yet to announce pricing of the 4G LTE variant of the handset.
Motorola Moto E (Gen 2) specifications
Moto E comes with a 4.5 inch qHD display with 540*960 pixel resolution and 245 ppi. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with anti smudge coating. The new Moto E (Gen 2) and Moto E (Gen 2) LTE support single-SIM and run Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
The 3G version of the Moto E is powered by 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 32-bit processor and a 400MHz Adreno 302 GPU. The LTE version has a 1.2GHz quad-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and a 400MHz Adreno 306 GPU. It comes with 8GB storage space and 1GB of RAM.
The device comes with a 5MP rear and a 0.3 MP front camera and has 8GB of inbuilt memory which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0LE, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, FM radio, and Micro-USB. The device gets its juice from a 2390mAh battery.
