New Delhi: Motorola is growing its portfolio of devices available outside Flipkart. The company has announced that the Moto G (3rd Gen) and the Moto G Turbo Edition will also be available on available on Amazon India. At present, only the Moto G (3rd Gen) 16GB variant is available on the e-commerce site at Rs 10,999. Motorola has said that the 8GB variant of the Moto G will go on sale later this week, while the Moto G Turbo Edition is set to go on sale from tomorrow onwards.
Motorola has been trying to move away from its exclusive sale via Flipkart. Last year in September, the Moto E was made available on Snapdeal that was followed by the Moto 360 (2nd Gen) smartwatch, which went on sale on Amazon India last month. Motorola's latest launch, which is the Moto X Force, was launched on Flipkart and also on Amazon and offline channels like Croma and more.
Motorola Moto G(3rd Gen) features a 5-inch 720p display and runs on Android Lollipop. The smartphone has a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor and is IPX7 water resistance. It is available in two variants — 8GB storage variant with 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage variant with 2GB of RAM. It also comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera. The connectivity options are dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support and the device is powered by 2,470mAh battery.
Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition features a 5-inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with a 1.5GHz Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor. The smartphone has a 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage, along with microSD card slot. It also has a 13-megapixel f/2.0 camera, 5-megapixel f/2.2 wide-angle selfie camera. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support and it is powered by 2,470mAh battery with Turbo quick charge support.
