New Delhi: Chinese smartphone giant has unveiled its next budget smartphone, the A7000, at the ongoing Mobile World Congress 2015.
The Lenovo A7000 is a pocket-friendly smartphone that the company says will offer more to users. It has a 5.5-inch display coupled with the 64-bit MediaTek MT6752 processor.
The handset comes with Dolby ATMOS audio technology, which the company claims will offer its users “sounds of people, places, things, and music become more vivid and move from all directions, including overhead, with astonishing clarity, richness and depth.”
The A7000 smartphone, sports a 5.5-inch 720p HD display screen and runs on a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752M 64-bit CPU and Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. It offers an 8MP rear camera with LED flash along with a 5MP front camera. On the memory front, the smartphone offers 2GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage with microSD card slot.
Connectivity options include dual micro SIM card clots with support for 4G LTE. It is powered by a 2,900mAh battery.
The device will be available next month for only $169 unlocked.
The A7000 is the first Lenovo phone running Android 5.0 Lollipop and comes with its proprietary Vibe UI skin on top of it.
