New Delhi: Microsoft is giving Windows Phone owners a bonus 20GB of SkyDrive storage for a year. The storage will be active for a year, and users can claim it by the end of January. The company already offers 7GB of SkyDrive storage free with Windows Phone devices.
According to The Verge, SkyDrive has grown increasingly important for Microsoft, particularly with the changes introduced in Windows 8.1. The company is already giving away 200GB storage for two years with every purchase of Surface 2 or Surface Pro 2 tablets.
