Eyeing a bigger pie of cheap smartphones in India, Microsoft has launched its cheapest smartphone, Lumia 430, priced at Rs 5,299.
The Lumia 430 joins the Lumia 435 and 532 handsets in Microsoft's lowest-priced Windows Phones, and its camera capabilities are very similar.
Lumia 430 is a dual-SIM handset and features a 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) LCD display. The device is powered by a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, paired with 1GB RAM. The device also packs in Microsoft Office, Skype and OneDrive.
It comes with a 2MP primary camera along with a VGA secondary camera.
It runs the latest Windows Phone 8.1 software, but will be upgradeable to Windows 10.
Internal storage includes 8GB that is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. A 1,500mAh replaceable battery completes the package.
The phone is available in two colours: Bright Orange and Black.
