New Delhi: Micromax has finally launches its much anticipated flagship model, the Canvas Turbo A250, in India at Rs 19,990.
The new Canvas Turbo, the successor of Canvas 4, comes with an anodised aluminium body which is the company says will double as an antenna to boost signal reception. It has a 5.0-inch IPS full HD (1920x1080p) display with CGS (Continuous Grain Silicon) technology made by Sharp.
The device is powered by the four 1.5GHz Cortex-A7 cores, PowerVR SGX544 graphics and 2GB of RAM. The smartphone offers 16GB of internal storage, but sadly no microSD expansion slot.
Other specifications include a 13.0-megapixel main camera and a 5.0-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone features smart gesture controls wherein the user can simply flip the phone upside down to activate the silent mode or raise the the phone to the ear to answer it.
Naturally, the Micromax Canvas Turbo comes with dual-SIM support. And you get quad-band GSM plus 2100MHz HSPA support for up to 42Mbps downlink.
Micromax Canvas Turbo runs on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean and will launch in India on October 26 in Pristine White and Midnight Blue colors.
