New Delhi: Micromax in association with Intel has launched a new 8-inch Android tablet called the Canvas Tab P666, at Rs 10,999.
Micromax Canvas Tab P666 is the first tablet from the popular handset maker packing an Intel chipset.
The tablet features features an 8-inch IPS display with a WXGA (1200x800 pixels) resolution and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Processor Z2520 (4 threads, 1MB Cache) coupled with 1GB of RAM.
Inbuilt storage includes 8GB which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
It sports a 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera that can record full-HD (1080p) videos. There is a 2-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard. The Canvas Tab P666 supports 3G connectivity via single SIM (Micro-SIM). Other connectivity options include GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB.
The device is fueled by a 4400mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 325 hours of standby time. It weighs in at 310 grams while measuring 7.9mm thin.
The tablet also comes preloaded with apps such as M! Games, M! live, Bookmyshow, Hike, Swift Key, Dr. Safety (a virus scanning app), and Opera Mini Browser. The Micromax Canvas Tab P666 tablet will be available in Black and White colours.
