New Delhi: Homegrown handset maker Micromax is all set to launch the Canvas Knight smartphone on March 5. It is the company's first Octa-Core smartphone which was first launched in Russia during the operation launch there.
The Canvas Knight is expected to cost around Rs 22,000 which is similar to the launch price of the Canvas Turbo smartphone.
The device will feature 1080p Full HD resolution and is powered by an Octa-Core processor with a clock speed of 1.7GHz per core. The device has a 2GB RAM on board abreast of a 32GB ROM. It has a 16MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera for photography and video calling respectively.
The phone will compete against the likes of Intex Aqua-Octa which is the first Indian Octa-Core phone.
