New Delhi, Sep 4: Maruti Suzuki, India's largest car maker, has launched a refreshed version of its hatchback Ritz in the diesel option at Rs 5.31 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi) on Monday.
The company claims the model offers 10 per cent higher fuel efficiency at 23.2 kilometers per litre, an improvement over the previous 21.1 kilometers per litre. According to Maruti, this was achieved by the company engineers by use of reduced friction engine and calibration optimization.
Exterior design details have been revamped to include new headlamp design, bumpers, body side moulding and rear spoiler. On the inside, the company has given the Ritz new dual-tone interiors, new ZDi variant, multi-information display on instrument panel, new audio system with USB, and electrically adjustable rear view mirrors.
Other changes include steering audio controls, alloy wheels and airbags. The new Ritz will be available in mystique red, granite grey and breeze blue colours.
The Ritz is available in four variants, LDi (Rs 5.31 lakh), VDi (Rs 5.64 lakh), VDi ABS (Rs 5.82 lakh) and ZDi (Rs 6.23 lakh).
