New Delhi: Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg today said that the world cannot be connected without India.
Interacting with students of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi during a townnhall meeting here, Zuckerberg remarked, "Very important to connect people in India,"
"India is one of the countries where you cannot connect the world without connecting India."
He also said he was very excited to be here and, "the energy here is awesome".

Q: What are future products we cn expect from Facebook?
Zuckerberg: In 5-10 years, we want to be able to build computer systems which concieve better which can recognize things around World. We can translate language better, can understand language better.
Q. Although we are 130mn users, how do you connect people who are not on Facebook or don't have internet access?
Zuckerberg: The first thing I say is that we can look at the efforts we have had with Internet.org. It is live in 24 countries in the world and growing. There are 15mn people in the world who have access to Internet because of efforts of Internet.org
Q: How do we stop receiving candy crush requests?
Zuckerberg: We are doing it, we are finding a solution.
Q: Why are you so interested in India?
Zuckerberg: Many people do not have access to internet. So great opportunity to develop economy here. It is very important to connect people in India. We have large community of people here, second biggest community we have in the world. India is one of the countries where you cannot connect the world without connecting India. We want the next billion to come online. That's why I am excited to be here. We are going to work on availability, affordability & awareness.
