New Delhi: Mahindra & Mahindra has launched limited edition of its sports utility vehicle XUV500, called XUV500 Xclusive, costing Rs 14.48 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). The carmaker says it will make only 700 units of the Xclusive Edition.
XUV500 Xclusive Edition comes with features such as 6-inch touch screen infotainment system with GPS, DVD, CD, MP3, FM, USB, and iPod connectivity, driver information system, fully automatic temperature control with dual HVAC; projector head-lamps with LED parking lights, voice commands, cruise & audio controls on steering wheel, tyretronics, and reverse parking assist.
The limited edition variant also comes with aluminium pedals, grey alloy wheels, electric sunroof, 6-way power-adjustable driver's seat (optional), illuminated scuff plates and anti-pinch driver window.
In terms of safety, M&M is offering 6 airbags (front, side and curtain), Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with Rollover Mitigation, ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Hill Hold Control, and Hill Descent Control.
Speaking at the launch, Mahindra & Mahindra chief marketing officer - automotive division - Vivek Nayer said the company has launched the model based on the feedback received from the customers.
"The XUV500 Xclusive Edition will create a new benchmark in premiumness and exclusivity, to further enhance the XUV500's appeal amongst its customers and fans," he added.
