Elantra
Hyundai revealed its Elantra model at the recent LA Auto Show 2015. This is the vehicle's sixth-generation model and is known to be the best-selling model of the company.
Talking about the exteriors, the car will own a Fluidic design philosophy with a new bumper and bigger fog lamps. The car would ride on the 10-spoke 16-inch alloy wheels while the rear will feature dual tone bumper and LED inspired rake lights.
Under the hood, the car is expected to work on a 1.6 litre VGT diesel mill that can generate power of 134 bhp and torque of 30.56 kgm. Another motor will be the 1.6-litre GDi petrol, that produces 130 bhp and 16.41 kgm while it will also get a 2.0 litre Nu petrol that can churn out the power of 147 bhp and peak torque of 18.35 kgm.
Santa Fe
Last but not the least is Santa Fe facelift, which has been revealed in the overseas market. Hyundai is planning to introduce the facelifted version of Santa Fe in the country as well.
The India-bound model of the vehicle was revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2015. It equips a hexagonal front grille, LED DRLs and Xenon projector headlamps at the front where rear and front bumpers are also redesigned.
Mechanically, Santa Fe will work on a 2.2-litre diesel mill that can produce a power output of 200 bhp and peak torque of 440 Nm. In the petrol variant, the car will carry the Theta II 2.4 litre that can churn out a power output of 187 bhp and a peak torque of 241 Nm. This will get the standard 6-speed manual gearbox while 6-speed automatic will remain optional.
