New Delhi: LG has officially launched its large screen phablet, the G Pro 2, in India at Rs 51,500. Already the phone is available online through ecommerce retailers at a lower price. It was announced during the Mobile World Congress, in February.
LG G Pro 2 comes with a 5.9-inch Full -HD (1920x1080p) IPS display and offers a 3.3mm narrow bezel.
The device is powered by a 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and 3GB RAM. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat with LG's custom UI running on top.
The phone offers 32GB internal storage and a microSD card slot for expanding storage capacity. The device gets its juice from a 3200mAh removable battery.
On the imaging front, the device comes with a 13MP rear camera with support for Optical Image Stabilization plus, along with an LED flash, and a 2.1MP front-facing camera. Other camera features include 120fps HD video, slow motion video, and 4K Ultra HD recording.
The phone also includes a feature called Knock Code, which lets users unlock the phone by tapping the phone in a specified manner.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC and GPS. The phone competes against the likes of Galaxy Note 3.
