New Delhi: Lenovo has launched a high-end smartphone, the Vibe X2, in India at Rs 19,999. The smartphone will be exclusively available via Flipkart.
The smartphone features a 5-inch (1080x1920 pixels) IPS display and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box with Vibe UI 2.0. The dual-SIM version of the Vibe X2 comes with a Micro-SIM and a Nano-SIM card slot.
Design-wise, Lenovo claims the phone to be 'world's first layered smartphone.' This is visible only on the side panels of the device.
The X2 comes with a non-removable back cover and is comfortable to hold. The Vibe X2 weighs just 120 grams.
The handset is powered by a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6595m processor. It comes with 2GB of RAM, and includes 32GB of inbuilt storage.
On the imaging front, it offers a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera; a 5-megapixel front camera; a 2300mAh battery; 4G LTE (with support for Indian LTE bands); Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac; Bluetooth, and Micro-USB.
Lenovo also introduced click-on accessories called Vibe Xtensions for the Vibe X2, including the Vibe X2 Battery and Vibe X2 Speaker, but has yet to detail India pricing or availability for the same.
