New Delhi: Lava has launched a selfie-focused smartphone, the Iris Selfie 50, at Rs 7,999. The device is now listed on the company's website. However, there is no word on its availability.
Iris Selfie 50 features a 5-inch (720x1280 pixels) HD IPS display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core (unspecified chipset) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The handset offers dual-SIM support, featuring one regular SIM slot and the other Micro-SIM, and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
Inbuilt storage includes 8GB, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
The highlight of Iris Selfie 50 is its 5-megapixel front-facing autofocus camera that comes with an LED flash. The handset also packs an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with BSI II sensor and dual-LED flash.
Connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth.
The handset gets it juice from a 2400mAh battery, which according to the official listing is rated to deliver up to 10 hours of talk time and up to 200 hours of standby time on 3G networks.
