Xiaomi Mi 3 comes with a 5-inch Full HD display and is powered by 2.3GHz quad-core processor. Xiaomi Mi 3 sports a 13MP camera with dual-LED flash on the back and a 2MP camera in front. It comes with 16GB of internal memory and features a unibody polycarbonate design just like that of Nokia's Lumia smartphones.
The device runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, which is topped with MiUI v5. The Mi 3 measures 144x73.6x8.1mm and weighs 145 grams. It will be available in Metallic Grey colour. Connectivity options include 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and NFC. The device gets its juice from a 3,050mAh battery, and Xiaomi claims that the smartphone can deliver talk time of up to 21 hours on 3G networks.
Xiaomi Redmi 1S is a dual-SIM (Micro-SIM) with dual standby device offering a 4.7-inch 720x1280 pixel IPS-LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection and a pixel density of roughly 312ppi. It runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with MIUI v5 skinned on top, with no mention of an Android 4.4 KitKat upgradation.
It is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC, coupled with Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It has 8GB of built-in storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). The Redmi 1S also features an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with flash, alongside a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera.
Connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with Direct and hotspot functionality, Micro-USB, Bluetooth 4.0, FM radio, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB OTG connectivity options. It is powered by a 2400mAh battery, weighs 158 grams, and has dimensions of 137x69x9.9mm.
The Redmi Note (a phablet) comes with a 5.5-inch 720x1280 pixel IPS-LCD display with an approximate pixel density of 267ppi. It features dual-SIM support with dual standby, and is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MTK6592 SoC, coupled with Mali-450MP4 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The device runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with the MIUI v5 skin on top.
It features a 13-megapxiel rear autofocus camera with LED flash, as well as a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera. It comes with 8GB of built-in storage along with microSD card expandability (up to 32GB). Connectivity options on the Redmi Note include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with Direct and hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB with OTG, and GPS/ A-GPS. The Redmi Note features a 3100mAh battery, weighs 199 grams.
The Xiaomi Mi3 is up for pre-order on Flipkart and will go on sale from July 22. The Redmi 1s and Redmi Note will be available soon, however the company did not divulge on the exact launch date. The company will also setup 36 service centres across India, along with two dedicated Mi centres in Bangalore and Delhi.
