New Delhi: Here is a list of the week's top smartphone launches: Samsung Galaxy S5 Samsung is back with a new flagship Galaxy phone - Galaxy S5. And the company says it is the most powerful and most feature-rich Galaxy phone yet. The SGS5 features a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1080x1920 pixel full-HD resolution and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. The device comes with 2GB of RAM and will be available in 16GB and 32GB inbuilt storage models, with microSD card expandability up to 64GB. It sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with HDR (for video as well), and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear camera can record UHD video @30 fps along with HDR and video stabilization functionality. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with MIMO functionality, ANT+, Bluetooth 4.0, USB3.0, NFC, and Infrared remote functionality. It features a 2800mAh battery, rated to deliver 21 hours of talktime, and 390 hours of standby time. HTC One (M8) HTC has launched its latest flagship smartphone, the HTC One (M8). The HTC One (M8) looks premium as it is 90 per cent metal. The device sports a 5-inch IPS LCD full-HD display (1080 x 1920p, 441ppi) with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, the One M8 is powered by a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and 2GB RAM. The phone will be available in 16GB and 32GB internal storage variants with a microSD card slot that supports cards of up to 128GB capacity. The phone takes a Nano-SIM, which is a standard for most flagship smartphones in 2014. HTC will also offer 65GB of cloud storage space on Google Drive. The highlight of the HTC One (M8) is the dual camera setup that puts a 4-UltraPixel camera alongside a depth sensing camera that lets you refocus images after they've been clicked. It also has a 5-megapixel front camera. HTC One (M8) comes with Android 4.4.2 KitKat along with a brand new Sense 6 UI on top, which HTC is calling the biggest upgrade since Sense debuted. The phone comes with a 2600mAh battery. HTC One (M8) will be available in Gunmetal Grey, Amber Gold, and Glacial Silver colour options in select markets starting Tuesday. LG G2 (4G) LG Electronics India launched 4G-enabled android smartphone LG G2, priced at Rs 49,000. The LG G2 4G comes with a 5.2-inch True HD-IPS + LCD display having a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The device is powered by a 2.26 GHz quad core Krait 400 processor and Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset. The phone comes with 2 GB of RAM, arriving in 16 GB and 32 GB internal memory variants. There's no option to expand the device's memory as an external microSD slot for additional memory has not been provided. The G2 4G comes with a 13-megapixel primary camera with autofocus and LED flash. There's also a secondary 2.1-megapixel camera at the front. The device gets its juice from a 3000 mAh battery.HTC Desire 310 HTC's budget smartphone, the HTC Desire 310, is now available in India at a price of Rs 11,350. HTC Desire 310 is a dual-SIM smartphone sporting a 4.5-inch TFT screen sporting a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz Cortex A7 processor and Mali-400MP2 graphics, part of MediaTek MT6582M chip, with 1GB RAM. It has a 5MPrear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. The device comes with 4GB storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card and a 2,000mAh battery. It runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense UI 5.1 on top. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, 3G, Blueooth 4.0 and A-GPS. The phone also features FM radio with recording facility. iBall Slide 3G17 It has a 7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core Cortex A7 processor, Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) 3G tablet with voice-calling and dual standby features. It comes with a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera.It includes 4GB of inbuilt storage, out of which only 2GB will be user available, that is further expandable up to 32GB with microSD card. The device comes with a 2500mAh battery. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, GPS/A-GPS and 3G. Wammy Titan 3 Octa Wickedleak has launched the Wammy Titan 3 Octa smartphone at Rs. 14,990 in India. It is a dual-SIM phone that features a 5.7-inch IPS WXGA (800x1280 pixel) display with OGS lamination and Dragon Tail Glass coating. The Wammy Titan 3 Octa is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor with a Mali 450 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The device runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and packs in a 13-megapixel rear camera capable of recording 1080p videos, and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter. The device offers 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card. Connectivity options include GPS with A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with direct functionality, Bluetooth 2.1 and 3G. The device comes with a 3200mAh battery, which the company says delivers a standby time of up to 3 days.
