Jaipur: Telecom operator Vodafone today announced a one month long ‘every-minute prize winning contests' for its customers to commemorate the company's attainment of 1 crore customers in the Rajasthan circle. “We have crossed the landmark number of one crore subscribers in Rajasthan circle. This is a significant achievement for us and to commemorate it, we are launching a scheme for our customers to win a variety of prizes every minute,” Jayesh Gadia, Business Head, Rajasthan, Vodafone India, told reporters here.
Under the scheme, one Vodafone subscriber every minute will be rewarded through a lucky draw. The contest is open to all post-paid and pre-paid customers and the prizes varies from mobile handset to a car, he informed.
Gadia said the company was focusing on making rural people in the state understand mobile data and its uses. “We have a specially designed van travelling across Rajasthan through which we are reaching out to rural people and making them understand the mobile data and its uses in present time,” he said.
He said the company, which also offers 3G roaming services to its customers in Rajasthan circle, presently has over 1.05 lakh retail touch-points across the state.
