New Delhi: Online jobs and career community Glassdoor has unveiled its sixth annual Employees' Choice Awards, listing the best places to work in the coming year. The award relied on inputs from employees who anonymously provide feedback through a survey.
In the survey Twitter was elected the number one tech company to work for in 2014, displacing Facebook, which held the crown for three years straight (2011, 2012, and 2013). LinkedIn was second in tech (third overall), and Facebook was third in tech (fifth overall).
The surprising result was Apple didn't make it into the top 10. In addition, there were companies which we may have never heard of. Most of the best tech companies offer enterprise tech, not consumer tech.
Glassdor ranked companies based on how employees rated the company's CEO, its business strategy and the positive and negative things they said.
