New Delhi: Swipe has launched a new budget smartphone that comes with a fingerprint reader. It is called the Sense and costs Rs 9,999.
The talking point about the website is a fingerprint reader – located at the rear panel of the device just below the primary camera.
The Swipe Sense is a dual-SIM phone that comes with a 5.5-inch qHD (540x960 pixels) IPS display. The device is powered by unspecified quad-core processor powers the device, clocked at 1.3GHz and coupled with 1GB of RAM. It runs the recent Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS out-of-the-box.
For imaging, the handset offers an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, along with a 3.2-megapixel front-facing camera. Internal storage includes 8GB which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB).
Swipe Sense supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE and 3G connectivity options. The smartphone will be available in Black colour variant.
