New Delhi: Samsung may unveil its next Galaxy Alpha smartphone (aka Galaxy S5 Prime and Galaxy F) on August 4, according to Sam Mobile, a blog with a strong track record when it comes to leaking Samsung product releases. Earlier, the device was to be launched on August 13, as reported by a Korean website.
The Galaxy Alpha features a semi-metal design and a smaller screen than the Galaxy S5. With its rumored 4.7 or 4.8-inch touchscreen, the Galaxy Alpha may have been designed by Samsung to be a direct competitor to the iPhone 6, which should get a similarly sized display.
The rumoured Galaxy Alpha is likely to sport a 4.8-inch (720x1280 pixels) display. Sammobile suggests it will come with Galaxy S5's fingerprint scanner, and feature 32GB of non-expandable built-in storage.
