New Delhi: Panasonic India has launched its P31 phablet in India at Rs 11,990. The smartphone will start selling in India from the second week of March.
The newly launched P31 comes with a 5 inches FWVGA display with 480 x 854 pixels. The display comes with ultra oleophobic coating and contour edge design for easy handling.
The device is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad Core smartphone, coupled with 4GB ROM, which is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card. The RAM capacity of the smartphone is not clear.
The P31 is dual-SIM smartphone and comes with Micro SIM; it runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) OS. It offers an 8MP Full HD capable Autofocus camera with LED flash back, and also has a VGA front camea. The device gets its juice from a 2000 mAh battery, which according to the company, can deliver talk time of 13 hours on 2G, 9hours on 3G networks and standby time of 650hours (2G) and 600hours (3G)
The phone will be the first to feature Panasonic's “Play Life” bouquet of features giving the customers a customizable user experience, where smartphone understands gestures, organises the music library and let's one multi-task while watching videos.
Panasonic has also introduced the “Heat-Sink” design based feature on P31, for maintaining device temperature through controlled heat dissipation.
The phone also has an “Ultimate Saver” that switches battery use modes to conserve power.
