New Delhi: Blackberry CEO, John Chen has backtracked from previous statements that he would be selling the business if it becomes unprofitable.
Clarifying his early statement, Chen said that he would remain committed to the company and had no intentions on selling it despite losses.
Chen wants to transform BlackBerry's focus to its business clients but without withdrawing consumer or handset business.
According to CNET, BlackBerry's team is working to cut costs and be more efficient.
The company has signed a deal with Taiwanese manufacturer Foxconn, allowing it to reduce operating costs.
