New Delhi: Micromax's first hexa-core processor-powered smartphone, the Canvas HD Plus is now available online for Rs. 13,500. The company is yet to announce this smartphone officially. It has also listed the Micromax Canvas Fire (A093), on company's website.
The Micromax Canvas HD Plus is a dual-SIM device that comes with a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixel) IPS display. The device is powered by a 1.5GHz hexa-core processor (unspecified chipset) coupled with 1GB of RAM. It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box.
The new devices joins the company's KitKAt range of smartphones—Micromax Bolt A069, Micromax Canvas Entice, Micromax Canvas Engage, Micromax Unite 2 and the recently launched Micromax Canvas Gold.
It has 8GB inbuilt storage which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). The device sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, while it also houses a 2-megapixel fixed focus front camera. It gets its juice from a 2000mAh Li-ion battery that is rated to deliver up to 7 hours of talk time and up to 250 hours of standby time. The smartphone is currently listed at Infibeam and is available in Black Gold and White Gold colour variants.
Notably, the Canvas HD Plus is the successor to the company's popular Canvas HD A116 and Canvas HD A116i launched last year.
Also, the Micromax Canvas Fire (A093), is now officially listed on the company website.
