New Delhi: Japanese messaging giant Line has rolled out B612 app (version 1.0.0) for taking the perfect selfie.
The B612 app has been released for devices running iOS 7.0 or higher. The company has asked Android users to ‘wait a little while' to get their version of the app.
B612, which takes its name from “The Little Prince” book, makes use of the front-facing camera exclusively. All you need to do is touch the screen to take a photo of yourself. There's no shutter sound too, which means more selfies.
It is a basic app in that it doesn't save each photo after it is taken. Photos taken can be shared on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or save it to your phone.
Unlike other apps which let you apply a filter once you take the photo, the B612 allows you to add the filter before snapping your photo. You can manually select your filter or use a quick button on the bottom of the screen that shifts through them one-by-one.
B612 offers 43 filters and present an option to change the layout of the image.
