New Delhi: LG has launched the Lucid 3 with Verizon Wireless carrier in the US at an off-contract (free if you sign up for one) price of $299.99 (approximately Rs. 18,000).The Lucid 3 is a value budget-phone that comes with a 960x540 4.7-inch LCD screen. But the physical design looks nice and compact: at 131.5x66x9.9mm, it's about the same size as the Moto X, despite having additional physical controls.The Lucid 3 is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It sports a primary 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a secondary 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It offers 8GB of built-in storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.The impressive part of the device is that it is already running Android 4.4.2 - the latest OS update is a rare thing to see on anything except flagship hardware at launch.Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/AGPS, EDGE/GPRS, Micro-USB and 4G LTE / 3G (HSPAსMbps). The device is backed by a 2440mAh removable battery.The LG Lucid 3 is up for sale on Verizon's website right now, and according to the press release, should be in stores too.
