New Delhi: Voice calling feature on the popular messaging app WhatsApp could soon be a reality. This is in accordance to the announcement made by co-founder Jan Koum during the Mobile World Congress, that it will add voice calling feature to it platform in second quarter of 2014. WPCentral was tipped off by volunteers who translate Hindi languages, confirming that they'd received new translation requests that hint at the new feature. These volunteers claimed that they have received a new translation request relating to the voice calling feature directly from WhatsApp. According to the leak, the translation page shows the Hindi options for notifying users of incoming and outgoing calls, as well as the hanging up. Since translations are usually one of the last things that developers do before rolling out an international product, so it clearly indicates that the feature will be added soon. Facebook recently added voice calling to the Messenger app on Android, so it was only natural for WhatsApp to follow suit. This feature will reportedly make its way to Android and iOS first followed by Windows Phone and BlackBerry devices.
