New Delhi: The sub-Rs 8000 category has just received a new entrant in form of Lava Iris X1. The budget smartphone runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS and also comes powered by a Broadcom processor.
Iris X1 sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS (854 x 480 pixels) display and is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Broadcom processor, clubbed with 1 GB RAM. and you have Videocore technology based graphic unit for smooth gaming and video performance.
The Iris X1 packs an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 1.4 µm pixel BSI+ sensor. The device also offers a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.
The device comes with 4 GB of internal memory that is expandable up to 32 GB via micro-SD card. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0 BLE (Bluetooth low energy), micro-USB and EDGE. It offers OTG support and is packed with an 1800 mAh battery.

Lava has priced the Iris X1 smartphone at Rs 7,999 and is available across the country.
