Mumbai: Prices of castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial recovered smartly at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on renewed demand from shippers and soap manufacturers.
While, linseed oil declined due to lack of buying support from paint and allied industries.
Groundnut oil and refined palmolein ruled stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity. In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold climbed by Rs 20 per 100 kg to Rs 3,985 from Thursday's close of Rs 3,965 and castoroil commercial moved up by Rs 4 per 10 kg to Rs 827 as against Rs 823. However, linseedoil fell by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 765 from Rs 770.
Moving to edible section, groundnut oil and refined palmolein closed unchanged at Rs 770 per 10 kg and Rs 594 per 10 kg, respectively.
