New Delhi: HTC has launched two new budget smartphone, HTC Desire 210 Dual SIM and HTC Desire 816, in India at Rs 8,700 and Rs 23,990, respectively. The devices will be available within two weeks.
HTC Desire 210 is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone that sports a 4-inch WVGA (480x800p) display. The phone is powered by a 1GHz MediaTek MT6572 dual-core processor and has 512MB RAM. The device runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with company's Sense UI on top.
The Desire 210 sports 5-megapixel rear camera, along with a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It offers 4GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, EDGE/GPRS and 3G. The phone is backed by a 1300mAh battery.
On the other hand, the HTC Desire 816, offers a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixel) display and is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, alongside 1.5GB of RAM. It is a dual-SIM (EVDO/GSM+GSM) smartphone that offers 8GB of inbuilt storage with support for microSD cards up to 128GB. The 816 will carry a brand new HTC Sense 5.5 UI on top. It sports a 13-megapixel f/2.2 rear and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It sports BoomSound front stereo speakers just like the HTC One.
The 816 comes with Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and GPS as connectivity options. The device gets its juice from a 2,600mAh battery
