New Delhi: As part of its global effort to make its mapping service useful for users locally, Google has launched Google Maps in Hindi. Starting today, people will be able to see Hindi names for cities, localities, important roads, as well as popular points of interest such as public parks and schools. This applies to its desktop and Android versions, but its iOS edition has been left out of this change.
Everything from historical monuments to other places displayed on the premier online mapping and navigation service will its name displayed in Hindi right below its English name.
