2. Quad-core 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processorThe 1520 is super-fast, thanks to its quad-core 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor. It is the fastest processor we've seen in a Windows Phone 8 handset, and the operating system simply flies. The smartphone completed the Sunspider JavaScript benchmark in an incredibly fast 536ms, which makes it almost twice as quick as the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 in this test. The phone makes web browsing extremely easy and zooming in and out and surfing the web pages is a breeze. Due to the phone's large size and resolution, users can easily read web pages when fully zoomed out. The 1520 also completed the GFXBench T-Rex test with an average frame rate of 25fps, which is essentially the same as the 26fps we saw from the Galaxy Note 3. In addition, running 3D games is also a whole lot easier in Lumia 1520.
