New Delhi: Celkon Mobiles has launched a new feature phone called Celkon C76 that comes with support to eight Indian languages including Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
The phone is available on online sites and retails stores for Rs 1,899. It is a candy bar phone with an alphanumeric keyboard and a screen on the front side. It is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) phone which features a 2.8 inch TFT screen with 240 x 320 pixels resolution.
Using the 3.5mm jack, users can plug-in earphones and listen to FM Radio. The rear camera is 1.3 megapixel one and supports video recording at 1280 x 1024 pixels, but there is not front cam. The memory can be expanded up to 8 GB. Connectivity options include GPRS, EDGE, WLAN, Bluetooth and USB.
The phone has MP3/WAV player inbuilt which allows you to listen to music on-the-go. The Li-Ion 1400 mAh battery provides just about average battery life.
The phone competes against the likes of Maxx MX100 Leader and the Penta Bharat Phone PF300.
Available in three color variants - Chocolate, Silver and Black, Celkon C76 is the new budget phone in India.
