New Delhi: Asus has launched its new dual-SIM, voice calling tablet, Fonepad 7 dual-SIM, in India for Rs 12,999.
Announced at the MWC 2014 earlier this year, the tablet comes with a 7-inch (1280 x 800) HD LED backlit IPS display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor. The device is expected to run Android 4.4 Kitkat.
It comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera with 1080p full HD video recording and a 1.2 MP front-facing camera, SonicMaster audio technology and 3G HSPA+ connectivity along with voice calling capabilities.
The tablet offers 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card slot.
Asus introduced the Fonepad 7 with 3G voice-calling in India last year. Buyers already have the option of chosing the single SIM version of Asus Fonepad 7 and the dual-SIM version is expected to cost Rs 14,999.
Connectivity options include 3G, Dual-SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and more.
